As most of you know I have what I call the “day job”. I have been working hard to blend the 2 more and more over the past 2 years. I have a lot of my friend on board making funny videos about the real estate and lending industry (which I personally think is HYSTERICAL). So much of why I do love my “day job” is really due to all of the people I get to interact with, the committee that I am part of and the industry that I truly love. To help support my industry I became a contributor to the Realtors Political Action Committee at the California Golden “R” (NAR “Sterling “R”) level. The cool thing is I have 2011 and 2012 NAR Sterling R pins and CA Golden R pins. I kind of feel like a big deal.

Months and months ago a friend said “Hey let’s see if we can get Josh Flagg to come speak to us.” No joke… that was just about what he said. I loved the idea as I am a huge fan of the show Million Dollar Listing on the Bravo Network. So fast forward a few months and with lots of planning from the YPN (Young Professionals Network) team we put on “The Josh Flagg Experience”. 

With over 250+ people, it was a packed house listening to the most enteraining Josh speak.

The evening before a few of us had a small dinner with Josh and Colton at La Provance in Roseville.

We had the whole private back room to ourselves and it really gave us a chance to get to know the two on a more personal level. I certainly say this is where my love for the boys turned into an obsession! I’ll admit that I told Colton I wanted to put him in my pocket and take him home with me.

Overall it was a great few days and we all had a blast with Josh and Colton. I think next time we will have to head down their direction for a visit!

Thank you for all that you do. I just don’t understand why you are not embraced and loved the way I embrace and love you. Most people think of their inbox as some sort of virginal property that must be protected from unsolicited advances. And they can quickly turn against you if they think that you are somehow responsible for sullying that sanctity. I use you with respect and care. I do not send spam or junk. You make my life easier and time efficient.

**To those who hate reply all…. Maybe you should just ignore it, continue complaining, and use the overzealous e-mails as a conversation starter next to the water cooler. If you ask me a question I already answered in the reply all email, please understand when I look at you with a face full of despair and raise a middle finger.

So my dear friend… thank you again for letting me love you and allowing me to share that love with everyone all at once.

Well… I am a little sad to say I did not bring home 1st place in the  2011 KCRA 3 A-List contest as one of the best “Local Blogger“. However, I guess I am not too upset as there were 63 nominees and I did come in 11th…. AND… I do kind of suck as posting regularly. Heck, I am suppose to be vlogging and I have been way off my game there. (but I have been videoing… just not posting… so more to come! PROMISE!)

Anyhow, I just want to thank all of you who did vote. I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of you. Honestly, you know how much The Meghan Show means to me and I truly could not than you enough. You all mean the world to me.

Warning… you are getting the “evil side”  of Meghan here. Turn back if you are afraid! LOL

It might be the two hours of sleep talking but I have to go off here…. I have a pet peeve when people like to pretend they are drummers on airplanes. ‘Drummers on airplanes’ you ask? Yes… GD D.O.A.s. This doucher next to me thinks he is flipping Travis Barker (drummer previously in Blink 182) and is using his tray table and the side of his seat as drums. Look… no offense, but the acoustics of our Boeing 737 and the high-end plastic drum kit your wielding Mr. 9C does not make you any less of a middle aged balding man who looks like a HUGE dork and is annoying this shit out of me and probably everyone else in ear shot.

So, to all of you airplane instrument players out there…. Unless you are in a band… And when I say band, I mean your pretty darn famous (i.e: you piss excellence, Pepsi bottles it, Target sells it, kids are begging their patents to buy it for $50 dollars a bottle, rinse, repeat and you are laughing all the way to the bank….. Please leave your jamming for the car ride to and from the airport.)

I was obviously VERY annoyed on the plane!!!

I cannot tell you how excited I am about this video!!! My friends Waltzing For Debbie just put out their debut music video… and I have to say it ROCKS!! It literally just posted and I stopped what I was doing so I could write this post. THAT IS HOW EXCITED I AM FOR THESE GUYS! Bill (you know… Bill and Meghan Show Bill…) and I did a podcast with WFD a while back and we have been following their music since. I cannot say enough good stuff about their music and the band. So on that note… YOU MUST WATCH THIS VIDEO…. IT KICKS @$$!

Sooooo… I have to share this little moment in my life as while I now find it VERY comical, during this heated conversation I got quite upset. As many of you know (and if you don’t by now, I have a little OBSESSION with vampires! LOL. Ok, yes..I know… so does everyone else. But I seem to think that my obsession is different; somehow special. ♥Edward and I are getting married…however I also have a new found love for both ♥Salvatore brothers♥ (Vampire Diaries)! I actually looked online recently to see if The Vampire Diaries were having casting calls as I felt I am perfect for the show. I had my roll all scripted out and everything. I cannot share that in case I do get on the show and we need to use that material! HAHA! Last but not least… let’s not forget True Blood. Basically I just want to become a vampire (the Hollywood version… not the ones I have researched online….uhh yeah, I’ll admit it…. I spent some time online looking around! LOL). So let’s get to this story already..

I was laying in bed with John and look over at him and say something along the lines that if I were “turned” into a vampire would he want me to turn him too. I expected him to say yes. Without any hesitation he says NO! I was completely shocked and immediately asked what, why not, are you crazy!? We went back and forth for a few minutes about it. I said I would turn him anyhow. He would not have a choice. I would sneak up on him and turn him (oh…. I would be able to walk in the day light too.. and not sparkle… that is kind of annoying). He then tried to tell me he would fight me off. I laugh. How can one fight off a vampire. With a dead serious face he looks at me and says “I’m a Jedi”. WHAT!!! Are you for real!…. wait it gets better… Then I sit up… look right back at him…. I am actually upset right now. I say “John, I’m trying to have a serious conversation. Jedi are not real.” Yup… that is right! You heard me correctly! He burst out laughing. He repeats what I said in a sarcastic tone and then says… really? Vampires are not real either. I obviously have another great line… “they are more real than Jedi. They are basically biblical. They are ancient. Jedi were created in the 70′s.” And while I can see how dumb my comments are now as I type them… I still was sticking to my ground! We actually had a 20 minute conversation after that on who would win a fight between a vampire and a Jedi! (wow… that is a dorky thing to do).

So, as you can see, I seem to believe that “Hollywood” vampires are real. To make matters worse… I actually spent like 10 minutes the next day talking to John about a Jedi vampire. HAHAHA! Think about it… this could be George Lucas’ chance to win the Academy Award.
